HOUSTON (Mission Control): Copy that, Enterprise. You’re correct — 3I/ATLAS was first detected July 1, 2025 by the ATLAS -Asteroid Terrestrial-impact Last Alert System. It’s an interstellar comet — trajectory hyperbolic. Quickly arcs around the Sun, glances by Venus and Earth, and heads back into the stars.

SPOCK: Fascinating. A celestial traveler passing through our neighborhood, tilting the heavens just enough to make humans look up.
